Fear and Where It Comes From

What exactly is fear?
Fear- An unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. (According to Google)
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love."
(1 John 4:18)
Satan is the one who puts FEAR into YOUR MIND!
"The thief comes only to kill, steal and destroy." (John 10:10)
The battle is NOT in YOUR MIND!
You have AUTHORITY OVER satan!"
"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you."
(Luke 10:19)
" Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
I don't know about y'all, but I pray this verse whenever I feel FEAR creeping in!
(Philippians 4:6-8)
I can think of a perfect example of someone in the Bible who was afraid, Peter.
The story of Jesus walking on water, shows someone who fears.
"Immediately He made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away. After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone. But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves; for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”
Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and *said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” When they got into the boat, the wind stopped. And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!”
(Matthew 14:22-33)
FORGET those "What if" situations! DON'T DWELL on them!
SILENCE YOUR FEARS and BAD THOUGHTS!
Ask God to renew a right spirit within you.
Be a CONQUEROR!
Did you know that YOU can MAKE FEAR GO AWAY with PRAYER and WORSHIP unto God? It really works!
The Take Away from this:
"I can do ALL things through Christ whom gives me strength."
(Philippians 4:13)

Forgive and DON'T Hold Grudges

I USED to COMPLETELY CUT OFF people who did me WRONG or who would IGNORE me or who were NEGATIVE ALL the time.
I'd do it without a WARNING.
In doing so, I have HURT SO many people.
I realize that now.
Instead of LOVING and FORGIVING others, they'd be IRRELEVANT to me.
Do you see how HYPOCRITICAL that is of me?
I called myself a Christian and yet my ACTIONS would show otherwise.

God wants YOU to LOVE and FORGIVE others.
Verses About Loving Others:
1 John 4:19 "We love, because He first loved us. If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also."
John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another."
1 John 4:10-11 "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another".

Verses About Forgiving Others:
Matthew 6:14-15 "For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions."
Colossians 3:13 "Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you."
Ephesians 4:31-32  "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another,  tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."

It's EASIER SAID than DONE!
We say, "Oh I'll forgive but I WON'T/ REFUSE to FORGET!"
That's STILL holding a GRUDGE! God DOESN'T WANT any of us to do such a thing.
Leviticus 19:18 "You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord."
It took me YEARS to FINALLY REALIZE it!

It's HARD to FORGIVE and step up and APOLOGIZE !
It's HARD to LOVE PEOPLE who did you WRONG!

A LIFE CHANGING moment happened when I apologized to folks I've HURT.
God CAN RESTORE a friendship or relationship that you ruined.
God's Word says that He will work out ALL things for the good of those who follow Him!
APOLOGIZING and FORGIVING CAN be LIFE CHANGING!

If you have a HARDENED heart, ask God to SOFTEN your heart into FORGIVING OTHERS.
Ezekiel 36:26 "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."
YOU WON'T REGRET it!
I DON'T REGRET it at all!
Y'all, DON'T STAY AWAY from NEGATIVE people.
God will sooner or later bring you to YOUR Nineveh!
In the book of Jonah, God brought Jonah to HIS Nineveh.
Jesus HUNG AROUND all sorts of NEGATIVE people!
So should we!
